Senior Product Manager

The Senior Product Manager will define and lead the development of innovative, smart city software and services. You'll take leading smart city and emerging technology concepts from around the world and translate them into specific, workable products to meet the needs of the City of New York and New Yorkers. In designing and shaping these new products, you'll work closely with stakeholders such as City agencies, the private sector, civic technologists, and the general public.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize, define, design, and manage the development of new smart city and emerging technology products

Create and execute against a strategic product plan and roadmap

Liaise with other City agencies and vendors to ensure IoT technologies meet City standards

Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader to other Mayoral Offices and City agencies on product design and development

Stay abreast of emerging smart city technologies and how they can be applied to the City of New York

Contribute expertise and support for other special initiatives as assigned

Skills We're Seeking

Expertise in product design and management

Can quickly understand strategic business objectives

Can juggle multiple, simultaneous, and complex technology products and services

Track record of thinking big and delivering new technology products, from start to finish

Experience working in the smart city space with IoT, blockchain, and other emerging technologies
